Who Wants to Start a Wax Museum?

Call me insane … but I have been counting down the days until Profiles in History auctions off 200 pieces from the Hollywood Wax Museum. 

Ever since I saw The House of Wax and sneaked into Madam Tussauds, wax figures have held a strange fascination for me … in fact I have just realized that my ideal career path would be to own Madam Tussauds.

I will be eagerly logged in on May 1st to see how much some of my heroes (however dubious the likenesses are) are auctioned off for … who knows Indiana Jones may go for a $200 bucks … my son would love that.

The list of celebrities is mind-boggling including the characters from The Wizard of Oz, Hulk Hogan, Thriller Zombie Michael, Tom Cruise, Sinatra, Laurel & Hardy, Chaplin, Freddy Krueger, Jason, James Dean, Marilyn … there is even Giger’s Alien.

My own personal favorites though would be Batman, Superman, BeetleJuice, Joker, The Terminator and Braveheart.

The list staggers me … Ali, Jordan, Woods and even Princess Di.

And of course every home needs one of these …
