English Premier League runners up Tottenham Hotspur defeated French Ligue 1 runners up Paris St. Germain 4-2 in front of 33,322 fans at Camping World Stadium, Orlando on Saturday night.
Edinson Cavani (pictured above) opened the scoring for PSG within six minutes with a delightful goal as Adrien Rabiot nipped past Cameron Carter-Vickers, one of three youngsters to have started for Spurs, and laid on a perfectly weighted pass for Cavani to steer beyond Hugo Lloris.
Spurs leveled five minutes with a moment of brilliance from Christian Eriksen (23) who thundered home a superb strike from 35 yards after giving Thiago Motta the slip that dipped underneath Kevin Trapp’s crossbar.
Trapp then committed a cardinal error in the 18th minute that would leave him red faced and Spurs 2-1 up. A back pass from Adrien Rabiot seemed routine but Trapp decided to take his time. The moment of indecision allowed Eric Dier the chance to block the delayed clearance and the German keeper watched in horror as the ball rebounded into an empty net.
Javier Pastore (pictured above) equalized with nine minutes left in the first half as he took advantage of Kyle Walker-Peters being caught out of position and the Argentine finished neatly to the top right corner of the net.

Eight changes ensued at the break as Harry Kane and Dele Alli were introduced alongside 17-year-old Tashan Oakley-Boothe, the first Millennium baby to play for Spurs.
Twenty seconds into the half Trapp compounded his night of misery as he was sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity as he handled outside of the penalty area as Kane rushed forward. Substitute goalkeeper Alphonse Areola made the save from Kane’s free-kick as Spurs looked to capitalize on their numerical advantage.
Eriksen almost gave Spurs the lead as he struck a shot that went just wide from distance in the 71st minute before Tottenham finally went ahead through Toby Alderweireld (pictured above) in the 82nd minute.
The defender received a pass from Victor Wanyama before unleashing an unstoppable 25-yard strike into the bottom left corner.
Kane (pictured above) then sealed the win with a powerful penalty in the 88th minute after referee Ted Unkel spotted a Blaise Matuidi handball.
