Juan Morales of Huntington Beach (pictured below left) won the Disney Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Inaugural 10 Miler in a time of 57 minutes 59 seconds.
Approximately 10,000 runners set off from Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida, right on the stroke of 10pm and some 57 minutes and 59 seconds later Juan Morales was first over the finishing line as he averaged a 5 minute 48 second mile.
Coming in first in the women’s category was Kimberly Morales of San Diego (pictured above right) in a time of 1 hour, 4 minutes and 49 seconds for an average of 6 minutes 29 seconds per mile.
The event route also took in the ESPN Wide World of Sport facility, headed out to the Disney Animal Kingdom theme park before coming to a conclusion at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
