The Surf Expo at Orange County Convention Center, Orlando came to a close on Sunday and the event was another huge success. The twice a year show always generates a lot of business for attendees and judging from the attendance it’s fairly safe to say that the industry is thriving.
Final numbers saw over 2,200 booths and over 20,000 attendees during the three day event. Surf Expo comes to Orlando every January and September and draws buyers from specialty stores across the U.S., the Caribbean, Central and South America and around the world.
The show features booths with apparel and hardgoods and a full line-up of special events, including fashion shows, annual awards ceremonies, and demos. The show is trade only and the show floor is split into varying categories including surf, waterboard & waterski, skate, stand up to paddle, lifestyle, kiteboard & windsurf and consumables.
The next show will be at the same venue in January 2014.
