If you are in Orlando this weekend an excellent new photo gallery has opened that illustrates the way in which Orlando and the world reacted to the 12th June Pulse nightclub shooting tragedy. Snap! Downtown presents UNISON and it features both heartbreaking and healing images which captured the range of raw emotions felt by the Orlando community and people around the world in the days following the tragedy. ‘Unison’ features images by renowned photographers Spencer Platt and Joe Raedle of Getty Images, Adrees Latif and Carlo Allegri of Reuters, Angel Franco and Sam Hodgson of the The New York Times, Alex Menendez and David Goldman of the Associated Press and Red Huber and the photo team at the Orlando Sentinel, among others.
The free exhibit runs through to 28th October at 420 E. Church St. Orlando, FL 32801. Mon-Sat, 11-4 PM. The exhibit may be a little difficult to find so please note that it is inside the 420 East building pictured below.
