Thousands of people attended the 4th July Sci-Fi event in Celebration last night. It was a fabulous evening of music, of tribute to our veterans and a celebration of everything that is good about the United States.
DJ Tami started the evening with some great tunes to get the crowd bopping and she was followed up by the fabulous Oliver’s Queen (pictured above) who actually performed three times during the evening. America’s Got Talent and Orlando native Carly Jo Jackson (pictured below)was next to take the stage as she entranced the audience with her raspy voice and huge talent on the guitar.
The crowd then enjoyed a Costume Contest where folks turned up dressed as their favorite Sci-Fi or Super Hero character. There were two categories as first those aged 15 and under competed before those aged 16 and up got to strut their stuff.
The evening was then rounded off with a moving tribute and special salute to United States Veterans before the night sky was lit with an amazing firework performance.
Oliver’s Queen then rounded off the night with a final performance that made for the perfect evening. Happy Independence Day America!
