Runaway Country kicks off with Diamond Dixie, Mackenzie Carey, High South and Kelsey Lamb
Runaway Country 2018 has begun at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee this afternoon and topping the bill were Diamond Dixie, Mackenzie Carey, High South and Kelsey Lamb.
The three day country music extravaganza will see many more acts over the next couple of days including headlining performances by Brantley Gilbert, Florida Georgia Line and Darious Rucker. Back an 8th consecutive year, the internationally acclaimed event will benefit the many needs of our most precious asset. Nemours Children’s Hospital receives a portion of every ticket sold, with 100% of each donation going directly to children in need of medical care.
Fans can enjoy a country music feast as well as lots of other activities such as line dance lessons, an after hours party zone, great food and of course, a chance to unwind and enjoy the weekend with an alcoholic beverage or two. All the family is welcome with lots of booths to see and lots of other activities for all the family to take part in.
Saturday’s action will see Reed Foley hit the main stage at 1.30pm followed by Ashley McBryde, William Michael Morgan, Brett Young and Florida Georgia Line. My Apartment will feature Kamryn Palmer at 2.30pm with Cross Atlantic, The Steel Woods, Natalie Stovall and Parmalee rounding things off for the day.
Sunday is the final day of the festival and Randy McNeeley Band feature on the Main Stage at 1.00pm followed by LANCO, Cassadee Pope, Kane Brown and Darius Rucker. The Apartment sees Jericho Woods at 1.30PM followed by Carli Ann Tuttle (pictured in photo above), Adam Craig, Sundance Head and Here Come the Mummies.
Ticket Options
There are various ticket options for the festival, so this gives you flexibility to choose the ticket you would like. Runaway Country is a rain or shine event where all sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges. Ticket options can be seen at www.runawaycountry.net/tickets/
3 Day Reserved Seating: Good for entire festival and guarantees you a seat each day.
1 Day Reserved Seating: Pick the day you want to go and just show up ready to party.
3 Day and 1 Day General Admission Tickets: Bring your own lawn chairs and sit wherever you want in the general admission area of the park.
Gates open at 12 noon on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Music starts at approx. 1 PM each day. Main stage goes to approx. 10:30PM Friday and Sat, 9:30PM on Sun.
- My Apartment – A cool 17,000 sq.ft. dual span stage and concert room. Entertainment all day and After Hours Party at night! Admission is included with your ticket.
- The Silver Spurs Party Zone – open all day till 1AM! You gotta see it to believe it. Like to dance? This is for you! Admission is included with your ticket. You must have an Age Verify wristband to enter.
Parking
General Admission parking for the festival is FREE! However you can upgrade to VIP parking passes and have a secure space for the festival next to the entrance.
A free shuttle will be provided for general admission parking and will run every 15 minutes from 10am-2am.
