A record crowd for a South East United States Women’s soccer match is a distinct possibility for tomorrow’s U.S. Women’s National Team match against Brazil at the Florida Citrus Bowl. Kick off is slated for 3.30pm and so far over 17,000 tickets have been sold for the game with the record attendance for any South Eastern Women’s National team game being just over 18,000.
The largest crowd seen so far in the 2013 season has been 19,109 in San Antonio and it looks like tomorrow’s game could exceed that if the weather stays as beautiful as it has been today!
Both teams were at the Citrus Bowl at different times today for some last minute training and a chance to brush up on some team tactics. After the session the U.S. team took the time to sign autographs for excited fans before heading back to the team hotel to prepare for tomorrow’s game.
Tickets are still available and can be obtained from the ticket office at the ground before kick – off. If you haven’t got your ticket yet I’d highly recommend getting to the Citrus Bowl early!
Hope to see you there…and yet again, Orlando gets the chance to make a very public statement to fans of the beautiful game all over the globe. Have fun, stay safe!
