PGA’s Florida Swing wraps with Arnold Palmer Invitational 17 to 20 March 2016
The PGA Tour wraps up its Florida Swing with the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando starting tomorrow 17th March 2016.
The 120 players will enjoy improved conditions at the popular event as the greens have been redone with Tifeagle bermuda grass while Celebration bermuda grass was planted on tees and fairways that took three months to complete in the Summer of 2015.
“I am so pleased with my golf course,” said 86 year old Arnold Palmer (pictured above), “I can’t tell you how pleased I am to say that it’s the best I’ve ever seen it… without equivocation. We reseeded the entire golf course, and the results are fantastic.”
Matt Every, ranked 163 golfer in the world, has surprisingly won the tournament the last two years but a strong field featuring five of the top 10 players in the Official World golf Ranking including Rory McIlroy (pictured above), Jason Day, Adam Scott, Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson are sure to put up a challenge.
