The National Arena League Board of Advisors has unanimously approved an expansion team for the Orlando market to play in the 2019 season. The National Arena League expects to hold a press conference later next week at the Amway Center in downtown Orlando, FL where the team will announce its ownership and staff. Last month, the National Arena League announced its first 2019 expansion team with the unveiling of the New York Streets, that will play in New York City for 2019. Expansion in 2018 proved very successful, as the NAL witnessed the Massachusetts Pirates, Maine Mammoths, and Carolina Cobras succeed on and off the field. The Massachusetts Pirates had the regular seasons’ best record, the Carolina Cobras became the National Arena League Champions and the Maine Mammoths earned Franchise of the Year in the National Arena League.
