Orlando City SC has announced its updated First Team roster following the conclusion of the 2017 Major League Soccer regular season.
Goalkeepers Joe Bendik and Mason Stajduhar; defenders Scott Sutter, Jonathan Spector, José Aja, Donny Toia and PC; midfielders Will Johnson, Yoshimar Yotún, Richie Laryea and Pierre Da Silva have existing contracts through 2018 or beyond.
Goalkeeper Earl Edwards, Jr.; defenders Rafael Ramos and Tommy Redding; midfielders Cristian Higuita and Tony Rocha; and forwards Dom Dwyer, Cyle Larin and Carlos Rivas had their contract options for the 2018 season exercised by the Club, meaning an additional, previously non-guaranteed year has been added on the player’s contract
The contract options for goalkeeper Josh Saunders; defenders Seb Hines and Conor Donovan; midfielders Antonio Nocerino, Servando Carrasco and Dillon Powers; and forwards Giles Barnes and Hadji Barry were not exercised by the Club. The contracts of defenders Kevin Alston and Devron García, and midfielder Kaká have expired.
