For the first time in nine years, NASA astronauts are heading to space from U.S. soil for the first time.
After a 3.23om launch on Saturday 30th May, Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken are safely aboard SpaceX’s Dragon capsule, the maiden crewed flight of the innovative spacecraft as they head to the International Space Station. It is the first time that NASA has allowed a commercial company to take its astronauts into low-Earth orbit.
