The American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) zoomed into Orlando today as it opened at Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). The 2016 AIMExpo is North America’s largest and most dynamic trade show for the motorcycle and powersports industry. The show opens its doors to consumers on October 15-16, providing a one-of-a-kind opportunity to see the latest and greatest the industry has to offer for 2017. Consumers can purchase tickets at AIMExpoUSA.com, the official event website or onsite.
Nearly 500 exhibitors, including 17 manufacturers, will provide global and domestic debuts of a wide array of new products and showcase their latest innovations. Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of motorcycling inside the North Hall. Additionally, the new exhibitor floor location puts the heart of AIMExpo mere steps away from the event’s most unique trademark – AIMExpo Outdoors! – where consumers can swing a leg over a bike, saddle an ATV, or buckle into a side-by-side to get a hands on perspective of the marketplace’s newest models.
In addition to the many new motorcycles, ATV’s and UTV’s, the full complement of the latest aftermarket products – gear and accessories – will be on display, many of which will also be available for purchase at the show. Moreover, a full slate of educational and informative seminars, along with the appearance of special celebrity guests, will offer additional opportunities for enthusiasts to enrich and enjoy their AIMExpo experience.
Leticia Cline (pictured above), model, spokesperson, local motorcycle celebrity and Official Ambassador for a brand new showcase for 2016 known as “Custom Culture at AIMExpo” said “The Expo is everything to do with power sports and you have the chance to touch, feel and test all the great motorcycles and products on show.”
Also at the show is Jason Paul Michaels (pictured above) of the Standard Motorcycle Company and the SMC crew. SMC is Orlando’s only co-op motorcycle garage and education facility and it is a place where members can work on their motorcycles in a creative and collaborative atmosphere leaning on and learning from one another to maintain, repair and customize their motorcycles. Jason said “We operate in a similar way to a gym membership and our members can do everything from a basic service all the way to complete custom frame building. The SMC Co-op has everything you need to work and most importantly, learn about your motorcycle. Whether it’s physical product research and development, brand consulting or full service content creation, we see the motorcycle industry through a different lens and can focus it on your brand or products. That’s why we’re here at AIMExpo, to bring our message to local people.”
The Expo also features a free stunt show as Adam Holbrook (pictured above) shows off his skills as he shows how to handle a motorcycle in tight spaces. Adam is one of the most outstanding riders in the country and at the young age of 15 he made his debut in national competition and finished as the 1999 Highschool Class National Champion. In his very first season competing in the national championship class he finished #9 in the country. Adam has since focused on his show performances and is the youngest motorcycle showman of this kind in the country.
Over the weekend visitors can also meet second generation road-racing legend Kenny Roberts Jr. The former world champion has been given the coveted distinction of “AIMExpo Champion” for the 2016 event.
Roberts Jr. is the son of Hall of Fame racer and motorcycle racing icon Kenny Roberts, who served as the inaugural AIMExpo Champion for the first ever event in 2013. Together they share the distinction of being the only father-son duo to ever win the FIM 500cc World Grand Prix Championship, now known as MotoGP, and are now the first father and son to serve the role of AIMExpo Champion.
Now more than ever AIMExpo provides an unparalleled opportunity to literally See It, Touch It, and Ride It, all in one place, at one time so do make sure you pay the event a visit this weekend!
Regular priced adult admission is just $15 for a single day pass and an adult two-day pass to enjoy both consumer days of AIMExpo is $20. Kids ages 15 and under are FREE when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Discounted tickets are available if you go online before the event and book your tickets for the show at AIMExpoUSA.com
