Construction crews erecting The Orlando Eye installed the final capsule this morning, marking another milestone before its spring opening.
All 30 of the 15 passenger capsules will feature air-conditioning, bench seating, lighting and audio effects, and interactive tablets providing guests with information on the 360-degree views of Central Florida.
The construction crew of the 400-foot tall International Drive attraction will now begin work installing the flip-down platform that guests will use to enter the capsules. The attraction is due to be completed by Spring 2015 and we are told an announcement date for the opening of The Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds Orlando and SeaLife will be made very soon. So watch this space!
