Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been awarded the AAA Five-Diamond Award, the highest AAA honor for a restaurant. This is the 11th year (first awarded in 2000), and V&A’s is the only restaurant in Central Florida and one of only three in Florida, along with L’Escalier and The Restaurant at the Four Seasons, both in Palm Beach. Only 55 restaurants in the U.S., Canada and Mexico made the 2011 list.
The leadership team at Victoria & Albert’s are manager and sommelier Israel Perez, chef Scott Hunnel (pictured above) and master pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek.
The restaurant is one of the best in Central Florida and certainly the best choice for special occasions. The menu is modern American cuisine with an emphasis on fresh seasonal products.
AAA evaluates more than 60,000 hotels and eateries annually. The ratings are given on a scale of one to five diamonds. Five-diamond properties are the premier establishments in the U.S.
