The United Tiny House Association is returning again to the Sunshine State with its 15th for-charity tiny event, the 2019 (4th Annual) Florida Tiny House Festival. The event runs from today through to Sunday 24th November.
Over 100 tiny residences are present at the festival which is located at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake in Orlando. Tiny houses on wheels (THOWs), converted school buses (skoolies), van conversions, yurts, box truck conversions, vardos/gypsy wagons, portable buildings and cargo trailer conversions are all available to view.
This year’s event will be three days of music, entertainment, workshops/presentation, multiple stages, on-site camping for non-tiny home owners (tents, RV’s, travel trailers), fire & flow artists, and more!
Also, vintage campers are returning! Yes, the canned ham-style campers & micro Airstreams of the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s will be onsite in “Happy Camper Land”!
A number of skoolies will be in attendance in “The School Yard”… and be sure to visit the gypsy wagons, yurts and other specialty tiny homes in the “Bohemian Village”. Private-owned tiny houses will be found in “Tiny House Town” and new model tiny homes will be on display, and for sale, from a number of professional builders in “Tool City”.
The 4th Annual Florida Tiny House Festival is a dog-friendly event. (All well-behaved furry family members are welcome, but must be kept on a leash or in an enclosure. All pets must be cleaned up after. Also, misbehaved/aggressive pets may be removed from the venue.)
On Friday, gates open from 12PM-8PM.
On Saturday and Sunday, admission is $20.00 per day ($25.00 for a 3-day admission ticket) and gates are open at 10AM-6PM.
There are outdoor concerts and performances all weekend, including bands, entertainers, fire & flow artists, and MORE!
