Surf Show 2017 makes impact in Orlando
The largest and longest running longest running board sports and beach / resort lifestyle show in the world zoomed into Orlando this week as nearly 30,000 people attended at the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive.
The show featured more than 2,300 booths of apparel, hard goods and a full line-up of special events, including fashion shows, annual awards ceremonies, and demos.
Interesting exhibitors were keen to be seen at the turn of every corner as they made a bid for a share of the 2017 market. Colombian companies Boamar and Milonga showed off their exciting new collections that will grace the stores in Spring and Summer. Milonga Swimwear, established for 10 years, began as a vision for satisfying the needs of a modern woman using the backdrop of where mountains merge with two vast oceans in their native land.

Over at Boamar, www.boamar.com, the balance between humans and nature is evident in a collection of adjustable pieces that allows the female to experience her body in a unique way. The exciting collection starts at $70 and offers a complex choice of bottoms and tops to suit every taste.
Reyn Spooner, www.reynspooner.com, is a 50 to 60 year old company that specializes in island lifestyle to create quality Hawaiian shirts and casual wear for men, women & kids that celebrate the pleasures of life. The company offers a classic fit in its Classic collection and uses Reyn Spooner’s traditional Spooner Kloth, which was first introduced in 1964 and became known as the oxford cloth of the islands. This cloth combines combed cotton with properties of spun polyester, which guarantees years of wash-n-wear durability. The Classic Collection offers prints from Dietrich Varez, Eddy Y and Naoki.
The company also continues to develop new fabrications and designs including the company’s newest innovation, the Modern Collection. This Collection was designed to appeal to a new generation of customers.

The 2017 Surf show also features the ever popular Resort & Swim Fashion Show with some 88 new looks taking center stage. The show returns to Orlando for the Fall season in September.
