Rock Your Disney Side Comes To A Close For Another Year!
Want to know a secret? Today is one of the best days to visit Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
Thousands of Disney guests are now currently catching up with lost sleep as the Rock Your Disney Side party came to a close at 6am this morning. The event started at 6am yesterday morning and ran for a full 24 hours.
Exhausted from character greetings, shows, parades, nighttime spectaculars and riding the attractions as many times as they wished, park guests had a ball of a time as they partied right through the night until they dropped!
That means that today is a great time to visit Magic Kingdom as crowds and lines will be far less.
Rock Your Disney Side had a good versus evil theme to it this year and guests were encouraged to don the clothing and character of their favorite Disney character – be that good or bad! Normally, Disney doesn’t allow this to happen for fear of guests confusing other guests with the real characters, but just for 24 hours Disney relaxes its rules and everyone gets to dress up and enjoy a full day living as a fantasy character.
Disney also rolled out the entertainment like never before. The “Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade” and the “Main Street Electrical Parade” both ran twice as did the “It’s Good to be Bad! Villainous Celebration.” “Celebrate the Magic!” and “Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party” both ran three times each and the “Wishes nighttime spectacular” rounded things off nicely.
There also numerous show times including “Dream Along With Mickey”, “Casey’s Corner Piano”, “Storybook Circus Giggle Gang”, and “The Notorious Banjo Brothers and Bob”. The party theme continued with “Disney’s Up All Night Dance Party” in Central Place as well an an “#INCREDIBLESS Super Dance Party” in Tomorrowland.
It was a great day at Disney… but then, everyday is a great day at Disney!
