The Silver Spurs Rodeo is opening the doors to all military personnel for two nights of fun and jam packed entertainment during the 133rd Silver Spurs Rodeo of Champions in Kissimmee this Friday and Saturday.
Military personnel can present their official military identification to the Silver Spurs Box Office to receive complimentary admission into the largest rodeo in the Southeast bucking into action June 6 and 7, both nights at 7:30 pm at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.
During the grand entry of both rodeos the “Horses and Heroes Drill Team” will honor our country once again, only this time on horseback. The drill team is an assembly of veterans who participate in group therapy at Heavenly Hoofs Therapeutic Riding Center in Kissimmee. The program is designed for veterans that were wounded in combat or suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Allowing them to opportunity to work with therapists, medical professionals and certified equine specialists in a holistic approach to healing.
The June Rodeo is an official Wrangler National Patriot Rodeo event, wear red, white & blue to support our troops, also a portion of the evenings proceeds will once again benefit the Heroes for Horses program, injunction with UCF and Heavenly Hoofs.
Tickets for the rodeo are only $15 per person, plus kids 10 and under are free, gains you entrance into one of the original extreme sport that will be sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
